The ladies of Clit Talk invented a taboo challenge and grabbed it by the lady balls...literally. Masturbating 12 days in a ROW!
The health benefits of masturbation is a topic that we’ve touched on a lot. For those of you just tuning in, clitoral stimulation releases neurotransmitters—like dopamine and oxytocin—that balance out hormones that cause stress and muscular tension. They also you sleep better, and my personal favorite—they help aid depression. Essentially, daily masturbation could be your new prozac…it’s worth a try.
It’s not really a secret that women statistically masturbate less than men. The Huffington Post did a study comparing men and women and only 10% of women masturbate 2-4 times per week, where men land at a whopping 40%. Then on the other end of the spectrum 36.5% of women haven't masturbated in the past year and men on this statistic is 18% - which I actually thought was kind of high.
So the ladies of Clit Talk got curious about what it would take for us six women to up these masturbation statistics and take of the challenge 12 days in a row...in honor of the holidays, we’re calling it “The Twelve Days of Masturbation.”
We ask the questions to reveal how masturbation can make a difference in all aspects of life, new ways of turning yourself on, we explored a variety of toys and tips for self-pleasure, and we explored what causes us to not masturbate.
