We're Coming Out with Jen Parkhill & Nick Champa

Episode 129

“I used to refer to myself as bisexual but that seemed limiting to me and no longer resonated. I think the bi in bisexual represents the binary aspects of myself. I refer to myself as pansexual now.”

- Jen Parkhill

What is up Cliterati!

In case you didn’t know, October is LGBT History Month, so we decided to do a special episode to celebrate National Coming Out Day - that is THIS COMING SUNDAY October 11th! The foundational belief of commemorating this day is that homophobia thrives in an atmosphere of silence and ignorance, and that once people know that they have loved ones in the LGBTQUIA community, they are far less likely to maintain homophobic or oppressive views.

As we know, depending on your family this may not always be the case and we want to encourage you to share your stories so we can share them with our Cliterati Community on Instagram!

In this episode of Clit Talk, we have two fellow Cliterati’s who have come to share their ‘coming out of the closet’ stories. Jen Parkhill and Nick Champa are back!

Jen Parkhill is a multidisciplinary artist, director, writer, activist, and Co-Founder of NYC based theater company, Here Artist Collective, which strives to champion queer voices in the arts. You can follow her on instagram @jenparkhill.

“The more boxes I try to tick the more I limit my self expression and authenticity.” - Jen Parkhill

Nick Champa is a  social media personality who normalizes romance and love regardless of gender with his boyfriend Pierre. You can follow him on TikTok at @nickychampa or on instagram @nickchampa.

“Labeling has become a dated way of understanding humanity.” - Nick Champa
