Cliterati!
We’re all about turning pain into pleasure and we have a very inspirational story today from a woman who has done just that. She took her childhood trauma and adult alcoholism to sobriety and sexual liberation. After years of struggling, she managed to pull herself up by her own bootstraps and start on a better path. Her book ‘The Making of a Woman’ is out and she competed in nationals this year in the NPC figure division at 49! Please welcome to the Clit Talk studio, Jewels!!
Jewels grew up in a toxic family that struggled with alcoholism. She dropped out of highschool in 9th grade, became an alcoholic and dabbled in drugs. She had a lot of anger and rage. At 35 she got sober.
Once she cleared out the rage she had a clean slate. She took advantage of every opportunity she could, like doing a women's circle or meditation that was centered around the divine feminine.
She's a femme dom and knows techniques for how to talk to a submissive man!

About the Author of The Making of a Woman
“I’m a woman who has lived two lives in one lifetime. The first part was a life of childhood abuse and trauma which grew into the full-blown disease of alcoholism. My life was out of control and I was circling the drain.
The second part is life today and how I urgently worked through my past and now have a wonderful life as a result. But my story is not your average girl gets sober story. I didn’t just get sober. I created a life of truth and authenticity. My story is about removing the expectations and the dogma of society and instead being guided by love and empathy.
Some may call my life risky, unethical, and totally against the norm. But I see it otherwise. I’m in a very loving open-minded marriage, I’m sexually liberated because of my childhood trauma, and I’m about to compete in nationals this year in the NPC figure division at 49! Just a snapshot of my life today.
I’ve always enjoyed the work of Gabby Bernstein, Oprah, and Wayne Dyer. I would love to see my book as supplemental reading in liberal arts classes, such as Women’s and Sexuality Studies, or Adolescent and Teen Psychology. But ultimately my target audience is the girl in the back of the room who feels she’s the only one. She’s the person I desire to reach.
I’ve had the honor of being a guest speaker on Keys and Anklets, a podcast focused on separating facts from fiction within often widely misunderstood lifestyles, Pillow Talk—another podcast that focuses on female-led relationships, and a documentary of alternate lifestyles broadcasted in the UK.
