She shares her personal story of becoming Cassandra Cass. Once a small town Iowa boy with three brothers, Cassandra is our first guest we have ever had on our show who has fully transitioned, meaning having undergone sexual reassignment surgery (SRS). She shares her experience of having the freedom to live as the woman she was born to be.
We got clued into a lot regarding SRS. For example, on the one hand we learned that the government is now helping transgender people financially for surgery, which is absolutely monumental, and on the other hand, we learned about Design Vaginas - Cassandra shared with us about her #DesignerVagina.
