Today we’re delving into the psychology of intimacy and new tools that are out there that we’ve never heard of...sex surrogacy.
Sex surrogacy, also known as surrogate partner therapy, goes beyond traditional sex therapy - beyond just talking about sex. It’s a treatment protocol that has helped a wide range of people - from victims of abuse, to people with disabilities, to simply helping those of us who have trouble connecting.
Our guest today, Dr. Laurie Bennett-Cook, is an incredible women and a jack of all trades. She started as a sex worker at the World Famous Mustang Ranch Brothel and then went on to marry, have some kiddos, and then you know, no big deal - become a doctor! She has her Phd in sexology, she started the Sexological Association at USC and teaches their BDSM 101 class (omg - can you imagine?), she has helped countless of patients find true love and intimacy, and we cannot WAIT to pick your brain about your specialty - sex surrogacy.
