Boudoir photo shoots encourage you to love and embrace your body and have a new appreciation for yourself just the way you are.
Finally wear the lingerie that has been sitting in your drawer with the tags still on them. Boudoir sessions are for working professionals, soccer moms, curvy gals, thin gals, cancer survivors… especially women who “always wanted to do this” but thought they “never could.” Boudoir sessions are for everyday regular women like you and me. Especially for any woman wanting to feel empowered, sexy, glamorous, beautiful and confident. Every woman deserves this unique experience – and it doesn’t have to be just one time.
JONATHAN MARK HEDRICK was born in Wiesbaden, Germany. He is a portrait/conceptual portrait photographer, and his work has recently been featured in American Society of Media Photography (ASMP)-LA’s “A World at Home: Connecting Outer Lives and Private Spaces” for his project -“7 Days Asunder” and ND Awards for Conceptual Portraiture in 2022. He currently resides in Glendale, CA with his wife and son-to-be.
What is boudoir?
We had always been attracted to this idea of a boudoir shoot and wanted to give a little history. A boudoir is a woman's private sitting room, a place to withdraw to, historically for a ‘lady’ or ‘upper-class women’, for them to spend time in this bedchamber to bathe, dress, embroidery, or spend time with one’s romantic partner - we’ve all seen Bridgerton, right?
Boudoir is edgy, it’s intimate and an opportunity to capture all those curves in the privacy of your own home.
Katie finally had her boudoir shoot - yes, it’s for moms too!!
A Message from Katie:
I FINALLY DID IT! A boudoir shoot. I’ve been talking about it for awhile… ya know, how you talk about things, want to do them but it takes more time than expected to get together. I gotta say, this experience was worth the wait. I got to collaborate with my long-time friend Johnny @hendrickjounral and we got nerdy on boudoir.
