Read more5 Ways to Take Pleasure Back into Your Hands
Pleasure is not a luxury… it’s your birthright.
After leading our digital courses over the past year, we have identified a limiting belief that many of us have.
The limiting belief is “my pleasure doesn’t matter” and it shows up in sneaky ways. It shows up as a little voice (we call the lil bitch) and it tells you to put everyone and everything else first… the boss, the kids, the spouse, the project etc.
It’s the voice that says…
I’m not worth it.
I’m too busy.
I’ll have time for pleasure, when I finish this task.
The problem is that the cycle seems to continue. We complete a responsibility and then we find another thing that’s important and we place priority to it over our pleasure.
The good news is that we have the ability to cultivate awareness. When we bring awareness to the limiting belief “my pleasure doesn’t matter” it no longer subconsciously calls the shots and that pattern can come to an end.
From our personal experience, living from this limiting belief has an impact overtime on our relationships, health and fulfillment.
We often think that we will feel the way we want when our external circumstances change.
And that is actually backwards.
Our physical reality alters when we accept it and choose to feel good feeling emotions. Access to acceptance is recognizing our worthiness.
We are worthy of feeling good. We are worthy of being in our pleasure. Pleasure happens in the present moment.
All you have to do is acknowledge you are worthy of it, choose to be in it… and maybe tell the lil bitch to f***k off.
No matter where you’re at with being in your pleasure, you can make a choice to move toward being in a higher vibration.

Matriarchy does not mean a world where women rule over men. What we noticed about research on matriarchal societies around the world—from the Bribri communities in Costa Rica to the Akan of Ghana— is that often men lead in important areas like politics or spirituality, and women are the central property owners. It’s a balance of power, rather than one gender dominating the other. Actually, it sounds a lot like, dare we say…equality?
